Patent attorneys of IPR GROUP took part in iForum 2017, which held on the 25th of May, at the International Exhibition Centre “IEC Ukraine”, and it was the largest offline conference of Internet entrepreneurs in Ukraine. The objectives of th
e conference were to exchange information and experience between the largest Ukrainian and foreign Internet companies, support start-ups, develop international entrepreneurship and innovative companies.
Structural changes in the economy of Ukraine and the improvement of the business climate linked with the on-going processes of European integration, contribute to the emergence of new companies; the basis of which is the commercialization of the portfolio of intellectual property objects, incl. modern industries – electric transport, electronics, and IT-technologies. The protected inventions by patent allow their owners, through the exercise of exclusive rights to ensure the effective development of new technologies, which allows them to take a leading position in the market. In turn, a lower level of competition in the markets of technology companies allows investors to achieve high production volumes by a smaller amount of investment, receiving a higher rate of return in relation to companies using advanced or aging technologies.
Being specialists in the field of protection of rights to inventions and utility models, patent attorneys of IPR GROUP regularly advise technology companies on procedures for registration of rights to intellectual property objects, their effective protection and use as intangible assets in structuring companies of various forms of ownership.
