By the invitation from the World Intellectual Property Organization, Kirill KISTERSKY, Managing Attorney of the IPR GROUP, gave a presentation on the Madrid system of international registration of trademarks at regional seminars held in Kiev on April 10 and Lviv on April 12.
The focus of the presentation was on the acquisition and exercise of rights to trademarks for goods and services; the examples from practice as well as the experience of using the Madrid system in CIS and the participating countries were also highlighted by the speaker.
