The 2025 AIPPI Mid-Term Meeting took place on February 20–21 at the Sheraton Zagreb Hotel, bringing together intellectual property professionals from around the world. The event served as a platform for discussions on key industry developments, policy updates, and emerging challenges in IP protection.
IPR GROUP participated in the meeting to engage with international colleagues, exchange insights, and explore potential collaborations. The agenda featured a series of sessions addressing critical topics shaping the future of intellectual property examination and the further commercialization and distribution of innovative products.
One of the key presentations, “A Business in Transition – Brands to Tech,” examined the shift from brand-driven business models to technology-focused strategies. Speakers discussed how industries are integrating patent functions to enhance innovation and competitivene.
The Standing Committees Summit highlighted the work of AIPPI’s committees, showcasing best practices and recent achievements. The session emphasized the role of committee-driven initiatives in shaping global IP policies.
