The IPR GROUP team attended the annual conference hosted by the International Trademark Association in San Diego, California, on May 17-22, 2025
Five days of the conference were full of table topics, panel discussions, speed networking sessions, business meetings, networking tours to historic locations as well as receptions hosted by the IP firms from all over the world.
This year’s Annual Meeting is centered around the theme “The Business of IP,” emphasizing the critical role intellectual property plays in fostering innovation and driving business growth. Navigating the Right of Publicity in the Age of AI; Harnessing AI: Innovative Strategies and Practical Applications for Trademark Practitioners; Winning in the Age of AI: Domain Management Strategies for the Modern Brand are some among numerous topics for discussion which were high on the agenda during the conference along with practical insights into the current IP laws and practices worldwide.
The IPR GROUP Team has reconnected with colleagues they have known for years and made new connections with IP professionals at this must-attend event in the field of protection of intellectual property rights. The company’s representatives had a unique opportunity to get first-hand information about the current IP practices in various jurisdictions and get updates on recent changes in the dynamic IP legislation most of which have been necessitated by the fast development and integration of AI in trademark and patent practices and operations of the law firms.
