Attorneys of IPR Group attended the 86th Conference of Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group on March 18-19 in Hamburg, Germany “All Change! Exploring pharmaceutical trademarks today and tomorrow.”
The Conference was devoted to recent developments in the process of registration of rights to trademarks in pharmaceutical industry; issues related to prescription of generic drugs; trademark litigation practice in the pharmaceutical industry.
Participation in the conference gave a possibility to discuss the most updated trademark protection tendencies in different states and share the experience with colleagues.The focus of discussion was also on recent global changes and processes in the pharmaceutical industry, namely creation of joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, management of intellectual property rights. One of the most important particular features of the Conference is that it gives an opportunity to have an open dialogue directly with the representatives of pharmaceutical companies, and to discuss the expectations of the client regarding particular services, for instance, requirements for conducting trademark searches and preferable format and timescale of providing search reports.
