Edmund Ani has been with IPR GROUP since 2017, gaining substantial experience in intellectual property practice. A key aspect of his role is his contribution to the development and ongoing coordination of the firm’s internal trademark refusal-tracking system.
In addition, Edmund, as the firm’s local representative in Nigeria, successfully manages trademark prosecution and maintenance procedures in this jurisdiction, effectively extending the firm’s reach into the Nigerian market. He is the firm’s primary point of contact for coordinating trademark-related matters before the Nigerian Trademarks Registry.
Edmund holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Usmanu Danfodiyo University (Nigeria) and a Master’s Degree in Information Management from Ahmadu Bello University (A.B.U.), Zaria (Nigeria). His academic background supports his work in trademark portfolio management, data tracking, and process optimization.
He is passionate about intellectual property and committed to supporting clients in building, maintaining, and protecting strong trademark portfolios across jurisdictions.
