Tatiana is a certified Trademark and Geographical Indications Attorney of Ukraine. She advises national and international clients on trademark filing, prosecution and enforcement, protection of geographical indications, domain names infringements, unfair competition, assignments, licensing, validity/cancellation options.
Tatiana has accumulated substantial experience in consulting, filing and prosecuting trademarks in different countries. On a constant basis she expertly overcomes provisional refusals, filing opposition for international trademarks filed under the Madrid System and for national trademarks in the countries of our jurisdiction. She also assists in combating infringements IP rights, resolving domain and other IP disputes.
Tatiana obtained a master’s degree at the Kyiv State University of Law and has a rank of Associate Professor and a Ph.D. in International Economics. She was upskilled at Internship programs at Brown University (USA), London Centre of International Economics and Management (UK), TACIS Agency for the Development of Enterprises, lectured at the Higher School of Business (Poland).
She joined the IPR Group in 2000 and in 2015 became the Head of Licensing Department.
She is a member of INTA, VPP Patent, UNION IP, National Association of Patent Attorneys of Ukraine.
She frequently publishes articles related to IP expertise and protection in specific areas. She is also invited to speak at IP conferences related to different aspect and peculiarities of trademark protection in the countries of our jurisdiction.
