Registration is compulsory for assignment of a trademark.
The following documents are required for recordal of assignment:
- Three original Deeds of Assignment (signed by the companies’ CEOs).
- The original POA signed by an assignee and the original POA signed by an assignor (by the companies’ CEOs and the same authorized persons who signed the Deed of Assignment).
- The original Certificate of Registration.
